Beaujolais 2009 - a superb vintage!

Beaujolais Nouveau 2009 was released on 19th November this year. (We have a few bottles left)
The 2003 and 2005 vintages in Beaujolais were regarded as exceptional but the 2009 surpasses them.
Many factors contributed to this not least the very dry and warm month of August.
The harvest began early, on 25 August, and the weather during the harvest was fantastic.
The 2009 vintages for the 10 cru, available during the latter part of 2010, promise to be rich and powerful and should be able to age very well and very long.
